The Red Worker (1920)

The red image displays the way that the country are controlled and told what they are to do, The large figure in the centre of the design is holding a large hammer which can display strength and that everyone is working in unison and there a collective unit. There isnt much type on the image so the main communication of this was displayed through imagery.

LEF Magazine (1923)

The propaganda function was soon recognized by the government, and agencies were set up to cultivate it. The Constructivist movement were created around 1906 and they achieved the name due to the members seeing it as their task to ‘construct’ the environment for a new society in the same way that engineers constructed buildings.
